Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Duevero. By creating an account or using Duevero, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Duevero is
Duevero is a business finance tool for freelancers, contractors, and service businesses. It provides invoicing, expense tracking, client management, and financial reporting features. It is not accounting software and does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One account per person. You may not share accounts.
3. Plans and billing
- Basic plan: free, with the features described on the Pricing page. No credit card required to start.
- Pro plan: billed monthly at the rate shown on the Pricing page. Pro billing is processed by Square. Existing historical billing records may reference Stripe. You can cancel at any time — no penalties, no lock-in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
- Refunds: we offer refunds at our discretion. Contact hello@duevero.com for billing issues.
4. Online invoice payments
Duevero offers an optional feature for connecting Square so your clients can pay eligible invoices online by card. By connecting your Square seller account, you agree to Square's terms of service. Payments are processed directly by Square and deposited into your connected Square account. Duevero is not the merchant of record for client invoice payments and is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, or delays caused by payment processing. Safety controls apply, including account age requirements and invoice amount limits for new accounts.
5. Your data
Your invoices, clients, and expense records are yours. We do not claim ownership of your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we store and protect it. You can export your data or request deletion at any time.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not create fraudulent invoices or misrepresent transactions.
- Do not violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the Service.
- Use the Service for legitimate business finance management only.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Duevero available and reliable, but we make no uptime guarantees. We may update or change features over time with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of liability
Duevero is provided as is. We are not liable for lost revenue, missed invoices, tax penalties, or other indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time. On termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days and then deleted, unless required otherwise by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in good faith through direct communication before escalating to formal proceedings.
