Is the Basic plan free indefinitely, or is it a trial?
Indefinitely. The Basic plan has no trial period, no expiration date, and no credit card required. You can use it as long as you like for invoicing, expense tracking, 10 active clients, and raw CSV exports. Pro adds recurring invoices with optional automatic sending (Pro), scheduled overdue reminders, multi-period Profit & Loss reports, and formatted accountant-ready exports.
What does the Basic plan include?

Can I import clients from a spreadsheet?
Export your spreadsheet as a CSV, then choose Import CSV on the Clients page. Map the columns and preview rows before confirming. Duplicates are skipped, not overwritten. Choose an imported client to create your next invoice in the existing editor. Client CSV import is available on Basic and Pro, within your plan's client limit. Historical invoices, payments, expenses, and accounting records are not imported.

How do clients pay invoices online?
Each invoice includes a secure link your client can open in any browser. No login, no account, and no app needed on their end. Connected, eligible sellers can offer Square card checkout on eligible USD invoices; availability depends on seller location, Square eligibility, and account status. For other supported currencies, use your own payment instructions or an external payment link. You can record payments manually.
How does Square card payment work?
Connect your Square seller account in Account settings. Eligible USD invoices may show a card payment option; availability depends on seller location, Square eligibility, and account status. Other supported invoice currencies do not currently offer Square checkout. Card data is processed by Square.
Can I use Duevero with an international business address or currency?
Yes. Set your business country and address in Settings and choose a supported currency for new invoices and estimates. Currency totals stay separate; Duevero does not convert amounts or calculate/file VAT/GST or other tax obligations. Optional business registration and tax ID fields display information you provide only.
Can I get a refund on a card payment?
Refunds on card payments are initiated through your Square seller dashboard. If a refund is processed through Square, Duevero automatically updates the invoice status when the refund is confirmed. You can also manually record refunds and adjustments in your invoice payment history.
Is Duevero accounting software?
No. Duevero is focused invoicing and profit tracking software, not a full accounting package. It handles estimates, invoices, expense tracking, and a profit dashboard. It is not designed for double-entry bookkeeping, payroll, inventory, or bank reconciliation. If you need full small business accounting, consider QuickBooks or Wave. If you want clean invoicing and know-your-profit simplicity, Duevero is built for that.
What happens if an invoice goes unpaid?
You can send a manual follow-up email or use the free Late Payment Reminder Generator to write one in seconds. On the Pro plan, Duevero automatically sends email reminders to clients with overdue invoices on the schedule you configure. So you never have to write a follow-up manually.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees. If you cancel your Pro subscription, your account reverts to the Basic plan at the end of your current billing period. Your data is retained.
How is Duevero different from Wave or PayPal invoicing?
Wave is broader accounting software. Powerful but more complex than most freelancers need. PayPal invoicing ties payments to a PayPal account and offers limited expense and profit tracking. Duevero is purpose-built for freelancers and service businesses: invoicing, expense tracking, and real profit visibility in one place, without the bloat. Basic is free; Pro is US$12/month.
